Summary:
We are seeking a Media Planning Associate to support the strategy, development, and execution of multi-channel media plans that align with client goals and maximize impact. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for marketing and advertising.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, research abilities, and cross-platform media knowledge to support the team in delivering results-driven campaigns. Experience in advertising agencies and familiarity with both traditional and digital media channels are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and presenting comprehensive media plans to meet client marketing objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support data-driven media strategy development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, account, analytics) to align plans with broader campaign goals.
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of media campaigns across channels.
- Ensure timely execution of campaigns by managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
- Work with media partners and vendors to negotiate rates, placements, and added-value opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and media reporting platforms.
- Prepare performance summaries, insights, and recommendations for client presentations.
- Maintain open and ongoing communication with clients to understand evolving objectives and respond to inquiries.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in campaign materials, reporting, and documentation.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of media planning experience, preferably within an advertising agency.
- Solid understanding of digital, print, broadcast, and social media channels.
- Experience using media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven approach to campaign planning.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a client-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
